What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

What we collect
- Your name, mobile number and email address, so we can identify your account and contact you about orders.
- Delivery addresses, so couriers can reach you.
- Order history, so you can see past purchases and we can handle returns.
- Basic usage information such as pages viewed, used to keep the site working and to improve it.
Payment information
We do not store card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or bank credentials. Payments are processed by a licensed payment gateway on its own secure infrastructure. We only receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, plus a reference number.
How we use it
- To process, pack, deliver and — if needed — return your order.
- To send order updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
- To answer your questions when you contact support.
- To meet legal and tax obligations such as invoicing.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to do any of the following, free of charge:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and tell you who we have shared it with.
- Correct or complete anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Erase your account and personal data, except records we are required by law to keep — tax invoices, principally.
- Withdraw a consent you gave us. Withdrawing consent does not undo what was done while it was in force, and we may not be able to keep serving you if the consent was necessary to fulfil an order.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
- Opt out of promotional messages at any time while still receiving updates about orders you have placed.
Write to support@sreecollections.net with your registered mobile number. We may need to confirm who you are before acting, so that someone else cannot obtain or delete your data. If you are unhappy with our answer, escalate through grievance redressal.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and company law require them.
- Account details are kept while your account is open, and deleted when you ask us to close it, apart from those invoice records.
- Cart and browsing data held in your own browser stays there until you clear it — it never reaches us.
To be confirmed by Sree Collections: the exact retention period against your accountant's advice. Indian tax law sets a floor; the number belongs here once it is confirmed.
Children
This shop is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and orders should be placed by an adult. If you believe a child has given us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
How we protect it
- Card and UPI details are entered on the payment gateway, never on our servers. We never see or store a full card number, CVV, PIN or OTP.
- We will never phone or message you asking for a PIN, CVV or OTP — not to confirm an order, and not to process a refund.
- The site is served over HTTPS, so what you send us is encrypted in transit.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires, rather than quietly hoping you do not notice.
